Risky Business

Posted on February 9, 2012

This is a real conversation that I had with Kevin, a nice Jewish boy who I had met online. My first online date. It did not go well…

Raz: What was your major?

Kev: Jewish Studies

Raz: Wow, how did you go from Jewish Studies to owning your own business?

Kev: Oh, well when I said I started my own business, it really wasn’t that hard.

Raz: What do you mean, what kind of business is it?

Kev: I buy tickets to things like sports games and Broadway shows, and then I sell them for more money online.

Raz: Oh, so your business is like StubHub?

Kev: Yeah, sometimes I sell the tickets on StubHub, or just on the street…

My fault. I assumed his business wasn’t imaginary. You know what they say about assuming…
